UCLA forward James Keefe is scheduled to have his sore left shoulder X-rayed this afternoon, Coach Ben Howland said.
Keefe was hurt in the first half of Tuesday night’s game against New Mexico State, re-injuring a shoulder that required surgery for a torn labrum two years ago. Doctors may check to see if the screws from that procedure are still in place.
‘I definitely don’t anticipate him playing [against Notre Dame] Saturday in South Bend,’ Howland said.
Another forward, Nikola Dragovic, came down with the stomach flu and is not expected at practice today, Howland said.
