And it seems to me that you lived your campaign like a superdelegate in the wind....
The Clinton campaign has booked Sir Elton John for a New York fundraiser on April 9. The superstar will perform solo at Radio City Music Hall in a benefit for the New York senator’s presidential campaign.
The event is billed as: ‘Elton and Hillary: One Night Only.’’ (Really).
This will mark Elton John’s first public solo concert in New York since his concert at Madison Square Garden in October 2000.
‘I’m not a politician but I believe in the work that Hillary Clinton does,’ the singer said in a statement released by the Clinton campaign. ‘I’m excited to support Hillary by performing at what will be a truly memorable night.’
Tickets start at $125 for Mezzanine and $250 for Orchestra.
‘Can you feel the love tonight?’’ as writer Tim Rice put it for Sir John. ‘It’s enough to make kings and vagabonds believe the very best.’’
