Girls’ Soccer: El Camino Real is top-seeded squad in City playoffs

El Camino Real is still on top in City Section girls soccer. Today, the Conquistadores were awarded the top seed in the 32-team draw, ahead of Sylmar, San Pedro and Palisades. The first round is 3 p.m. Friday, with winners advancing to the second round and losers dropping to the Invitational bracket.

Foshay was seeded No. 1 in the Small Schools Division and earned a first-round bye along with No. 2 Sherman Oaks CES, No. 3 Northridge Academy and No. 4 Orthopaedic Medical. Friday’s first-round matchups:
