Girls’ basketball: Controversial call on Muir’s mind

Despite a slow start, Muir managed to keep things interesting until the very end in its 40-39 loss to Magnolia in the Southern California Regional Division III girls’ basketball championship on Saturday. Unfortunately, a controversial traveling call on Eliza Pierre with two seconds left obliterated any chances of a Muir bus trip to the state capital.
