Football: Long Beach Poly scores again

Less than five minutes into a supposed Moore League showdown for first place, Long Beach Poly is already turning its game against unbeaten Compton into a rout.

The Jackrabbits just scored on a 43-yard swing pass from quarterback Morgan Fennell to Daveon Barner. Melvin Richardson added his second two-point conversion run of the night, and it’s 16-0.

Poly looks on its way to its 78th consecutive league victory.
