Boys’ basketball: Westchester routs Dominguez

Westchester sent a powerful early season message Friday by routing Dominguez, 85-56, in a semifinal game of the Westchester tournament.

Jordin Mayes scored 22 points for the Comets, who will face Leuzinger in Saturday’s 7:30 p.m. final.

Leuzinger upset Taft, 70-67, with Jerry Evans scoring 30 points. Michael Williams made five three-pointers and finished with 31 points for Taft.
