Saddleback Beats Compton, 75-64

Sophomore guard Heather Este scored 18 points--12 in the first half--and had 8 assists as Saddleback College women’s basketball team opened up its South Coast conference season with a 75-64 win over Compton Wednesday.

Fullerton 70, Mount San Antonio 48--Fullerton outscored Mount San Antonio, 39-18, in the second half for a 70-48 victory over the Mounties. Sophomore center Diane Rockwood led the Hornets with 20 points--12 in the second half--and 13 rebounds.
