Jeffrey S. Ohrbach, grandson of the founder to the Southern California-based Ohrbach Department Store chain, died of an accidental cocaine overdose, the Los Angeles County Coroner said today.
Ohrbach, 38, was found dead in his Brentwood home on the evening of Jan. 4. Bill Gold, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, said Ohrbach died of “acute cocaine intoxication.” He had been dead for several days at the time his body was discovered by a friend, Gold said.
