Five Democratic officeholders, all part of the Westside Berman-Waxman political organization, have endorsed Mayor Tom Bradley for a fourth term. Reps. Henry Waxman of Los Angeles, Howard Berman, Sherman Oaks, and Mel Levine, Santa Monica; state Sen. Herschel Rosenthal, Los Angeles, and Assemblyman Burt Margolin, Los Angeles, said in a statement: “Although we do not agree with the mayor on every issue, we agree (he) is clearly the best candidate to confront issues (of crime, immigration and dwindling federal funds).”
