Kings, Islanders Meet at Coliseum

UNIONDALE, N.Y. — The Kings will go for their third straight victory tonight when they open a two-game trip against the New York Islanders at the Nassau Coliseum (6 p.m. KGIL, KWVE-FM).
Center Brent Sutter, the Islanders’ second-leading scorer with with 101 points, is expected to miss the game with a shoulder injury. Sutter was injured when he was checked by Larry Murphy and Peter Anderson of the Washington Capitals in the second period of a 6-4 win Saturday night.
The Islanders’ four-game winning streak was snapped in Sunday’s 5-3 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers.
