Comprehensive Care Net Up 27% in Quarter

Comprehensive Care Corp., a Newport Beach health care company, posted a 27% boost in its fiscal 1985 third-quarter earnings for the period ended Feb. 28. The company reported $3.77 million in profits, compared to the $2.98 million reported in the year-ago quarter.
The company, which operates alcohol and drug rehabilitation centers, said third-quarter revenues rose 41% to $39.7 million from the $28.1 million reported in the third quarter of 1984.
For first nine months of 1985, Comprehensive Care posted net earnings of $12.1 million on revenues of $110.8 million, compared with net earnings of $9.7 million on revenues of $80.8 million for the first nine months of 1984.
