SkoFed Mortgage Corp., a subsidiary of Sunbelt Bancorp of Dallas, has signed a 10-year, $7.4-million lease for a two-story, 26,100-square-foot building under construction in Koll Center Newport.
The building, whose general contractor is Koll Construction Co., is on two acres at 4220 Von Karman Ave. and will house 85 employees, nearly doubling SkoFed Mortgage’s present staff. It will be used as a full-service residential and commercial mortgage branch.
Langdon Wilson Mumper Architects’ master plan for the 125-acre center, a project of the Newport Beach-based Koll Co., will be completed by this building. The center now has 1.2 million square feet of office space.
