A crewman assigned to the aircraft carrier Kitty Hawk died Sunday when his car struck the center divider on Interstate 15, the California Highway Patrol reported. Ray Arnold, 21, whose rank and hometown were not immediatedly known, was pronounced dead at Pomerado Hospital at 5:08 a.m., CHP Officer Charles Eglin said.
