Budget Vote in the Senate

“Wilson Catches Spotlight in Gurney Ride to Senate.” That’s The Times’ headline to the story informing senior citizens that Wilson’s trip was made so he could vote for the GOP bill that cost them $6 billion in benefits, added billions to medical costs, increased Pentagon funds by $10 billion and shot down other programs geared to the needs of the poor and middle-income Americans.
A brilliant spotlight on Wilson, whose hospital bill, surgery and gurney ride were paid by the taxpayers, including the aged and the poor!
