Pippin Named Head of Watt Desert Division

Robert L. Pippin has been named president of Watt Industries/Palm Springs Inc., a desert development division of Santa Monica-based Watt Industries Inc.
Pippin joined Watt Industries last November. He was formerly executive vice president of the Ramos/Jensen Co., San Diego, and a partner in the San Diego law firm of Pain, Pippin, Cluff & Olson.
He will direct the Watt desert real estate developments, including the 385-acre Desert Princess Country Club and Resort and the Palm Springs Deauville. Pippin will also look for additional desert projects for the development firm.
A native of Visalia, Calif., the 44-year-old Pippin graduated from Cal State San Diego and received a law degree from UC Berkeley.
