Computer Applications Software Technology of Los Alamitos said last week it has won a $1 million subcontract to help design and install a missile tracking system for the Trident submarine. The contract calls for the company to write the computer program that will be used to test the trajectory and accuracy of the Trident missile, according to Richard Gibson, the company’s vice president. The contract was awarded by Interstate Electronics Corp., the company responsible for developing the Trident’s instrument capabilities.
