HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER : Mier Scores 4 Goals in Burbank Victory

Pony Mier scored four goals and Brad Watkins kicked in two more to lead Burbank High to an 8-0 win Tuesday over Saugus.
Cesar Zepada scored a goal and had one assist in the rout, while teammate Clint Greenwood contributed three assists. Oscar Eiligio scored the other goal.
Burbank, which lost its only game of the season to Alhambra on Tuesday, is 17-1 overall and 8-1 in the Foothill League.
Chaminade 8, Pater Noster 0--Chaminade kept alive its hopes of finishing first in the Santa Fe League with the win. The Eagles will face La Salle, which leads the league, next week.
Matt Fee scored three goals against Pater Noster, while Patrick Noonan, Mike Carnevale, Steve Baumgartner, Chris Siebert and Trevor Fase scored one each.
Chaminade is 5-1 in league and 11-5-1 overall.
