Not Much Action, but Nunn Is Enough

Michael Nunn of North Hollywood scored a technical knockout over Charles Carter in a middleweight bout Monday night at the Forum.
The scheduled 10-round fight was stopped at 1:56 of the third because of a deep cut under Carter’s left eye. The cut was caused by an accidental butt in the first round. It was Nunn’s 10th knockout and 13th victory without a defeat.
The crowd of 4,300 booed the fight because of the lack of action.
