PDA Engineering has named Clifford J. Mayotte its chief financial officer. Mayotte replaces U. Spencer Allen, who resigned to pursue personal interests. PDA is a Santa Ana-based company that designs, develops and markets mechanical engineering software and provides specialized engineering services.

Mayotte has 26 years of financial management experience in domestic and international companies. He comes to PDA from Monex International Ltd. of Newport Beach, where he was director of finance. Before that, he was vice president of finance and treasurer at Newport Pharmaceuticals International Inc. of Newport Beach.
