Kirk Harmon, an assistant coach at the University of the Pacific the last three years, has been named Cal State Fullerton’s linebacker coach.
Harmon, an eighth-round selection of the Minnesota Vikings in the 1982 NFL draft, replaces Bob Burt, who resigned in December to become the head coach at Cal State Northridge. Harmon was Pacific’s linebacker coach in 1983 and 1984 and was the Tigers’ defensive coordinator last year.
