Katella’s Shaw Throws No-Hitter

Katella High School pitcher Kevin Shaw threw a no-hitter in a 3-0 victory over Foothill in the second game of a doublehader at Boysen Park in Anaheim.
Shaw faced 23 batters in the seven-inning game, striking out 10 and walking only two.
In the opener, Foothill beat Katella, 9-5, as Chris Cutliff went 4 for 5 with a triple and three RBIs.
