Eros Back in Piccadilly

LONDON — The 93-year-old statue of Eros was returned to its familiar perch atop a fountain in Piccadilly Circus today, ending an 18-month absence for $300,000 in restoration work. The work to repair cracks and corrosion coincided with a major redevelopment project in one of London’s most famous tourist areas.
