Once again, leaders of the money-troubled transcontinental anti-nuclear protest march postponed resumption of their 3,000-mile walk while they tried to work out their financial problems. About 350 marchers have been stranded in a desert camp near Barstow, where spokesman Chris Bell of the Great Peace March Inc., said he is trying to negotiate an agreement with Mid-Western Sanitation Co., which has demanded more than $30,000, plus $2,000 for weekly servicing, for the 60 portable toilets rented to the group.
