Whittier : Vacancies on City Panels

Applications for seats on eight city boards and commissions are now available at the city clerk’s office in City Hall, 13230 Penn St.
As of July 1, the following bodies will have vacancies: Planning Commission (1); Parks and Recreation Commission (1); Library Board (2); Social Services Commission (2); Personnel Board (1); Parking and Transportation Commission (2); Design Review Board (1), and Board of Appeals (1). An architect is needed for the Design Review Board, while a general contractor is needed for the Board of Appeals.
Deadline for applications is May 30. For more information, call the clerk’s office, 945-8200.
