A 110-unit, $8.46-million student housing complex and community building will be built on 4.3 acres on the Cal State Los Angeles campus.
The university conducted a design competition and selected Berman, Bertolini & Crawford to work with Walton/Shapell Developers in the design and construction of the facilities.
The design package submitted by Berman, Bertolini & Crawford features five living unit “pods” with the community building serving as the main entry of the project. Each pod consists of 20 units which radiate from a central court connected by pedestrian walkways.
