8th Temblor in Two Days Hits

An offshore temblor measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale--the eighth California quake in two days--was centered in the ocean 28 miles southwest of Oceanside.
Police said there were no reports of injuries or damage after the 3:51 p.m. temblor Wednesday.
On Tuesday two offshore aftershocks measuring 4.4 and 3.9 on the Richter scale shook Southern California and five other measureable quakes struck various parts of the state.
