RIDLEY’S RETURN
Ridley Scott is back at work just five months after the legendary bomb of the $35-million fairy tale, “Legend.”
This time, Scott will go adultish with the police thriller “Someone to Watch Over Me.” Based on a screenplay by Howard Franklin, Danilo Bach and David Seltzer, it’s about a Queens cop who’s involved with two women--his wife and a high society type. Casting is under way.
Production is set to begin Dec. 1. The budget wasn’t announced, though a Scott associate told Outtakes, “You can be sure they’ll keep tight reins on Ridley in the money department.”
