Shamrock Broadcasting agreed to sell its ABC affiliate, station KEYT, for $30 million to Smith Broadcasting of California Inc. Proceeds of the deal will be used to expand other broadcast holdings by Shamrock, said the company’s chief operating officer, James Mixon. Shamrock, owned by the family of Roy Disney, purchased KEYT, Santa Barbara’s only television station, in June, 1984, from a local family that had owned it for 27 years. Smith Broadcasting of California is controlled by Robert N. Smith.
