San Pedro’s first batter of the game reached base on a fielding error, but Chatsworth pitcher Tina Shimozo retired the next 21 batters for a no-hitter to give Chatsworth a 1-0, nonleague victory over San Pedro. . . . Stacy Smock threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 to lead Bell-Jeff (5-2) to a 10-0 nonleague victory over Providence. . . . Charvette Powell was 3 for 4 and struck out 11 for her fourth win of the season as Poly (4-0) defeated Monroe, 13-1, in a nonleague game. . . . Robin Thomas and Marilyn Carroll combined on a one-hitter as Newbury Park (4-1) defeated Camarillo, 3-0, in eight innings.
