A man sitting in a car at a red light in Inglewood was killed in what is believed to be a drug-related shooting, police said. Fredrico Williams, 20, of Venice had stopped at the intersection of Florence and Prairie avenues when a man in a car that had pulled up behind Williams walked up and fired a single shot, Inglewood Police Sgt. Harold Moret said. Williams, who was with a woman identified as Sandra Washington, 29, and two small children, was shot in the chest. The gunman then sped away in his own car. Neither Washington nor the children were injured. Moret said investigators believe that Williams was killed because of a drug dispute. Moret declined to release a description of the gunman.
