2 East Germans Defect

MUNICH, West Germany — Two uniformed East German border guards defected to West Germany on Wednesday, West German border police said. Police said the guards, 20 and 24, were sent to repair a disabled vehicle at the border and seized the opportunity to climb over the border fence.
