Excess Lead in Paint Prompts Recall of Toys

WASHINGTON — A wooden toy train and a toy music box are being recalled because of excess lead in their paint, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Wednesday.
Enesco Imports Corp. of Elk Grove, Ill., is recalling the Wood Toy Train, Item No. 300403, and the Toy Chest Music Box, Item No. 315427, the commission said. The action was announced after tests by the state of Ohio found lead in the paint on the toys exceeded federal standards.
