Ahmed Saleh of Djibouti won the men’s World Cup marathon for the second consecutive time with a clocking of 2 hours 10 minutes 55 seconds at Seoul, South Korea.
Japan’s Taisuke Kodama, who exchanged the lead with Saleh until the 19 1/2-mile mark of the 26-mile 385-yard race, finished second in 2:11:23. Italy’s Salvatore Bettiol was third in 2:11:28.
