Michael J. Fox has bounced back nicely from the sluggish box-office performance of “The Light of Day.” Fox’s latest film, “The Secret of My Success,” jumped to the top of the chart on its opening weekend, grossing a surprisingly strong $7.8 million in 1336 theaters. “Police Academy IV” suffered a $3-million slide during its second weekend, but still grossed $4.5 million. “Blind Date,” the Blake Edwards/Bruce Willis comedy, continued doing steady business with $4.2 million. Walt Disney’s reissue of “Aristocats” got off to a good Easter break opening with $3.2 million in grosses, ranking it ahead of “Lethal Weapon” ($3 million) and “Platoon” ($2.9 million). Susan Seidelman’s “Making Mr. Right” got off to a poor start, grossing just $440,756 at 296 theaters, and--for the first weekend in its seven-month run--” ’Crocodile’ Dundee” failed to gross $1 million.
