Micropolis Improves 65.8% on Sales of $61.8 Million

Micropolis said its earnings in the first quarter ended March 27 rose 65.8% from a year earlier, to $6.2 million, or 55 cents a share, Sales rose 21.9%, to $61.8 million.
The Chatsworth company has benefited from strong sales of its high-speed, high-capacity disk drives, used by computers to store and retrieve data.
