L.A. Harbor : Miss Worldport L.A.

Sherry Robertson, 24, of Redondo Beach, was named 1987 Miss Worldport L.A. during a pageant at the Carson Community Center.
Robertson, a former Miss Hawthorne and a graduate of El Camino College, is a sales assistant for Paine Webber Securities. She will represent the port at special ship arrivals and terminal dedications.
The contest was co-sponsored by the port and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. The first four runners-up were Michelle Serici, 18, of San Pedro; Rose Orozco, 18, of San Pedro; Evangeline Gamboa, 24, of Wilmington, and Deneen Smith, 22, of Compton.
