Cafeteria Damaged in Blaze at High School

A fire roared through the cafeteria at Huntington Park High School early Saturday, causing an estimated $200,000 in damage, authorities said.
The blaze was reported at about 4 a.m., and 20 Los Angeles County firefighting units were dispatched to the school at Belgrave Avenue and Oak Street. Firefighters battled the blaze for more than 90 minutes before it was extinguished, a dispatcher said.
The cause of the fire was listed as suspicious and under investigation, the dispatcher said.
