Former North Carolina State and NBA star David Thompson is serving a four-month jail term for simple assault at a minimum-security facility near Seattle, the Raleigh (N.C.) News and Observer reported.
Thompson was arrested and began serving his term April 28, Charlene Shaw of the King County Jail told the paper. She did not reveal the specific charges.
