Sierracin Settles Lawsuit After Court Backs Boeing

Sierracin, a Sylmar aerospace firm, said it settled for an undisclosed amount a lawsuit brought by Boeing. The lawsuit involved Boeing’s rights to engineering drawings for cockpit windows used on 707, 727 and 737 Boeing aircraft.
Sierracin settled after the Washington state Supreme Court ruled in favor of Boeing, a Seattle-based aerospace company.
Because of the lawsuits, Sierracin’s 1986 financial results were qualified by its auditor. But Sierracin said it now expects its auditor to remove any qualification on its 1987 financial results.
