Bear, Stearns & Co. has elected Michael D. Sargent and Thor A. Stensrud managing directors in its Los Angeles office. Sargent heads up an institutional options and equities team, while Stensrud has been responsible for the sale of all institutional fixed-income products in the southwest region.
