WASHINGTON — Grumman Aerospace Corp. won a record $841-million contract today to give the rapidly growing space station project “arms and legs” in the form of crucial engineering support, NASA announced.

TRW’s Space Station Services Division of Redondo Beach, Calif., was the only other company to submit a proposal.
