GRIPE GRIPES

Susan Segal’s “gripes” about diners reveals how food servers can easily become deadly enemies of anyone (myself included) with a high sensitivity to caffeine (“Gripes,” June 14).
Sorry, Susan, I’ve been served regular coffee so many times when I requested decaf that I will continue to protect my health (and not just my sleep) by asking for decaf and questioning my server when the beverage and each refill arrives. I’ve suffered through too many anxiety attacks after “mistakes” from ignorant servers in all levels of establishments.
My health is more important than your convenience.
