The Nation : 10 Killed in Plane Crash

A twin-engine plane crashed and burned outside Lakeside, Mont., killing all 10 people on board and scattering musical instruments amid the wreckage, authorities and witnesses said. The identities of the victims in the private Beechcraft were not immediately available. Witnesses said the plane burst into flames on impact, and it took firefighters about an hour to put out the blaze. Auxiliary sheriff’s deputies cordoned off the area. The cause of the crash was undetermined, but federal investigators were due on the scene today, a spokesman said.
