Wynton Marsalis, Stanley Jordan and Bob James will bring the first offerings of contemporary jazz to the Orange County Performing Arts Center this fall as part of a three-concert subscription series. Keyboardist-composer James and fusion group Free Flight will begin the series on Sept. 20 and be followed on Oct. 11 by guitar virtuoso Jordan and vocalist-songwriter Michael Franks. On Nov. 22, trumpeter Marsalis will conclude the series in 3,000-seat Segerstrom Hall in Costa Mesa.
