An 20-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon when he jumped from the 23rd floor of the downtown California First Bank building, authorities said.
He was identified as Robert Bruce Condon, of Amherst, N.Y., who had been in San Diego for about three weeks and was unemployed, according to Deputy Coroner George Dickason.
The corner said that at 4:41 p.m. Condon plunged through a sealed window in the 24-story bank building at 530 B St. and landed on the upper level of a parking garage.
