The Grove Theatre Co. has received a $1,500 operational grant from Chevron U.S.A. Inc.
The city-sponsored drama organization in Garden Grove presents works in both the Gem Theatre and the Festival Amphitheatre. The 1987 summer Shakespeare Festival is being held at the outdoor facility.
The group previously announced the donation of $7,500 by its Gem Theatre Guild, a 110-member support group.
