Thanks to Police, CHP

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on July 8, while headed north on the Pasadena Freeway in the vicinity of Dodger Stadium, I saw a brilliant orange flashing light, well ahead of me but in my center lane. Anticipating an emergency ahead, I changed to the outside lane as did many other drivers. When I got closer, I saw a lone CHP motorcycle officer heading off and leading away a wrong-way driver who was driving a tiny convertible.
That CHP officer’s skill and guts averted an accident in which I and other drivers could have been involved. I wish to thank him publicly even though I do not know his name.
I hope that this helps us get wrong-way pavement markers installed at all freeway exits!
