Troops to Aid S. Korea Recovery

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korea today ordered its entire 600,000-member military to help the nation recover from a storm, mud slides and floods that killed 95 people this week.
Defense Minister Chung Ho Yong issued the unprecedented order as people on the southern end of the peninsula continued to dig out from damage caused by Typhoon Thelma, which killed 123 people last week.
