Notre Dame Clinches Summer League Title

Paul Nelson’s layup off a pass from Dave Fonseca with two seconds remaining led Notre Dame High to a 63-61 victory Tuesday night. The win gave Notre Dame the championship of the Saugus summer basketball league.
Bruce Heicke led Notre Dame with 34 points and Fonseca had 10 points and 10 assists. Ed Cogan had seven rebounds.
Notre Dame (13-5) has won six straight games.
