Another national art gallery--Spain’s Prado Museum--announced Wednesday it would hire internationally renowned art restorer John Brealey to run its restoration workshop for a year. Brealey, 63, is currently the restoration director of New York’s Metropolitan Museum. Due to start at the Prado in October, the British-born Brealey will play an organizational role, giving technical advice and running courses, a museum spokeswoman said.
